Our Baby Girl

Do you know when your mom would always tell you to stop growing up so fast? Or they would run into someone in the store and the convo would go something like this: " Oh my gosh! Don't they just grow up so fast? I can't believe how big you are." And you're just like...yeah right it's not happening fast enough. Now, that I have my own baby girl, I totally understand where my mother was coming from. Time does go by too fast..and there is nothing I can do to slow it down. Rae will be THREE in a few days. Seems like yesterday her daddy and I were freaking out (haha) about welcoming a little one into the world. Little did we know she was about to bless us beyond measure. The moment I laid eyes on her I fell in LOVE! On November 29, 2016, our baby girl entered this world. Sadly, her Daddy was in basic training...childbirth was probably the hardest thing I've ever had to do without him. And the worst part was, I couldn't call or text him to let him know he's finally a father! I was surrounded by family and friends, but I still had a hurting in my heart. The day I brought her home we walk in, sit on the couch and I get a phone call. "Hey babe. They let me call to check on you. How are you? Any news about when my baby girl will be here?" (INSTANT TEARS) God, knew what I needed when those instructors told Jacob to call me. I needed him to know that the littlest love of his life is here and is so proud of the person you are becoming for her & me. She's beautiful, smart, sassy, sweet, lovable, kind, and gives the best hugs. Every day she is learning something new, developing her little personality, and her mother's attitude (which we are working on), & her dad's humor. Our baby girl turns 3 in a few days...and we are so happy God chose us to be her parents. HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY MY BABY GIRL. I LOVE YOU TO THE MOON & BACK.
